Tasting note:

At day break the colour of the sky was still deep blue, deep like wine. The Meadows (aka Prados) neighboring permeate fresh thyme and rosemary aromas. The grape and its wine are pure ripe fruit: Silky, Tasty and dense.

The vineyard harvested during the fresh mornings of the month of September produced 170 crates of handpicked grapes that gave birth to a smashing wine. After resting for 12 months in new oak barrels we bottled 2.900 bottles.

Service and food pairing recommendations:

We suggest serving at a temperature of 16-18 ° C, as an accompaniment to braised lamb, smoky spiced T-Bone steaks or lobster paella.

Prados is a red wine in which the syrah variety, with less presence until now, becomes into the dominant grape. It’s concentrated, dense and deliciously fruity. Its force gets lighter thanks to the fresh presence of wild aromatic herbs and a delicate floral perfume, enhanced by a perfect spices balance.

Outstanding, definitive and round. This ‘crianza’ from Pagos del Moncayo manifests the perfect balance between local Garnacha and Syrah from Campo de Borja DO.
